Petinggi Spurs tegaskan pemecatan Conte bukan untuk cari pelatih baru

Tottenham Hotspur’s Director of Football, Fabio Paratici, has clarified that the sacking of Antonio Conte from the manager’s position was not to find a new manager. The club has been linked with several top managers currently available, including Julian Nagelsmann, who was just released from Bayern Munich.

Paratici stated that the team would instead fully support interim manager Cristian Stellini, a former assistant of Conte, and Ryan Mason, who will act as assistant manager until the end of the season. Paratici believes that their appointment can help Tottenham Hotspur reach their target.

“We will fight to achieve our targets, we will carry on until the end of the season. We should not follow media speculation about a new coach, it’s only speculation. We must focus on our squad and our manager, and we will support Stellini,” Paratici said.

Stellini has an advantage as he previously stepped in for Conte and managed Tottenham Hotspur when he was ill. At that time, he managed to get positive results, including wins against Manchester City, West Ham United, and Chelsea.

Meanwhile, Mason’s experience as an interim manager from his previous stint with Spurs will help Stellini in his new role. Despite having only seven games in charge, Mason managed to record four wins and three losses.

“We have full confidence in Stellini that he can do a great job, and Mason can help him a lot. Stellini managed the team when Antonio was sick, and he has experience. Ryan Mason can help him a lot. We have great confidence in Stellini and Mason to do a great job,” Paratici said.

Tottenham Hotspur is currently in fourth place in the English Premier League standings with 49 points, comprising 15 wins, four draws, and nine losses. Stellini and Mason’s first game in charge will be against Everton on April 4th.

In summary, while Tottenham Hotspur was once rumoured to be searching for a new manager, it appears they will stick with their interim manager and assistant coach for the time being, hoping they can lead the club to future success.
